REALTECH Australia – 24 Oct 2006 - Realtech was acquired in October 2006, to form part of SMS Enterprise Solutions, a business unit focused on providing a range of solutions to help our clients with the implementation and management of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects. Permian Defence Systems – 6 Dec 2006 - In December 2006, SMS acquired Permian, a defence systems engineering company with specialist defence and simulations capabilities. With offices in Adelaide and Melbourne, Permian provides access to the emerging Defence industry hot spot in Adelaide, where a number of major capital projects are located. Permian’s clients include BAE Systems, Boeing, Defence Science & Technologies Organisation, Tenix and Raytheon. Thirty two new staff joined SMS through the acquisition. IT Project Services (ITPS) – 15 Dec 2006 - In December 2006, SMS expanded its Technology Services business unit in Brisbane with the integration of ITPS. ITPS gives SMS access to considerable software development capabilities, coupled with existing contracts across corporate and government clients. View the official media release.
Operational Concepts – 26 Feb 2007 - Operational Concepts, a consulting provider specializing in business process architecture, organisational redesign and business improvement services across management and technology domains, was acquired by SMS in February 2007. SMS had previously partnered with Operational Concepts on business engagements, in which there was a natural fit of capabilities and experience. With a presence in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra, Operational Concepts brought 22 new staff to the SMS group. View the official media release.
Forward Media – 26 Mar 2007 - With considerable growth in the market for ERP systems implementation and maintenance, SMS was pleased to announce the acquisition of Forward Media in March 2007. Established in 1994, Forward Media focused their efforts on becoming a services firm of choice for SAP enterprise solutions, providing end-to-end support for clients in Sydney and Canberra. SC Management – 23 April 2007 - SC Management is a provider of business performance improvement services achieved through facilitation, organisational design and development of people, Mackay-based SC Management Consulting was acquired by SMS in April 2007, opening up a strong and well established presence for SMS in Central and Northern Queensland. The SMS Brisbane office has been sending consultants north to work in the mining and resources sector for years, so the acquisition provides an opportunity to leverage existing relationships, as well build on the broad client base SCMC has been servicing for over 13 years. Avoga – 26 April 2007 - Forty new staff joined the SMS Sydney office in April 2007, with the acquisition of Avoga in April 2007, a leading applications development company. Offering particular strengths in the areas of enterprise architecture, Java and Microsoft.Net architecture and development, database consulting, testing and IT project management, Avoga built a strong reputation in the Sydney market with clients from financial services, government, manufacturing and retail. Total Learn – 4 Oct 2007 - Canberra-Based operational learning and change management consultancy, Total Learn, was aquired by SMS in October 2007. Total Learn, which brings $5m in revenue and 27 permanent staff to the SMS group, delivers many types of operational change, including business-critical applications, ERP implementations and government compliance initiatives. Pelion - 7 May 2009 - SMS Management & Technology (SMS) announced the acquisition of Pelion Group Pty Limited (Pelion), a specialist provider of data management services.

Aipex - 5 Oct 2009 - SMS Management & Technology (SMS) announced the acquisition of Aipex Pty Limited (Aipex), a specialist Systems Integration provider and Australia’s largest certified Tibco partner. TIBCO is a leading provider of solutions in the areas of service-oriented architecture (SOA), business optimization, and business process management (BPM) and Enterprise Analytics. Bright Blue - 23 Feb 2010 - SMS Management & Technology (SMS) announced the acquisition of Bright Blue Solutions Pty Limited (Bright Blue), Australia’s leading specialist Oracle Siebel Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Oracle Business Intelligence (Siebel Analytics) consulting organisation. Renewtek - 21 Sept 2010 - SMS Management & Technology (SMS) announced the acquisition of Renewtek Pty Limited (Renewtek), a Systems Integration firm providing specialist Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Business Process Management (BPM) solutions.

Microgenx - 29 Oct 2010 - SMS Management & Technology (SMS) acquired the Microgenx business, a specialist Microsoft implementation Partner, specialising in technology solutions built on .Net and SharePoint.
